Oka Laila Kosam : Konda continues his stride
Naga Chaitanya has till date acted in 8 flicks out of which 4 emerged as family entertainers. This year’s success with Manam has been kept low by Auto Nagar Surya. Naga Chaitanya’s career graph has seen many ups and downs. He selected a family subject line for Oka Laila Kosam this time. Chaitu has added another feather in his cap with production roles as well. Blockbuster movie Gunde Jaari Gallantayyindi director Vijay Kumar Konda has once again taken the responsibility to elevate Nag’s heroics. Movie trailers and songs have raised hopes in Akkineni family fans. Normal audience also gathered interest through tunes. Let us go in details of Oka Laila Kosam
Storyline :
After completing his masters degree Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) succeeds in convincing his family for an year’s world tour. 6 months pass away by the time he returns from Paris. Father of Karthik (Suman) tries to instigate responsibilities and insists karthik ti decide about his future in the next Six months. During his deadline period, Karthik starts loving Nandu (Pooja Hegde) from first sight. But Nandu is very traditional. Due to some situations she creates a bad image of Karthik. And surprisingly Nandu had to be closer with Karthik forcibly. Karthik keeps on loving Nandu despite her resistance. What happened to Nandu ? Did Karthik succeed ? Could Nandu understand the depth of karthik’s love? Answers to these questions can be revealed on the screen.

Director Vijay Kumar Konda has once again proved that he is a good dealer of love lines. Story narration aptly indicates Konda’s skills and passion. He dealt with the interval and climax very interestingly. Interval seems to be a pre-climax. He could picturise the feel of the movie perfectly. Anup Rubens has again used his stamp of quality on songs and re-recording. Songs have been the highlight. Anup assisted the director in elevating the standards of the film.Cinematographer Andru has captured the locations well. Editing is just OK. Editor could have given some work to his scissors. A slight drag is felt in the second half. Richness of the film is at par with Annapurna Banner standards.
Vijay could re-establish himself with Oka Laila Kosam after Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindi’s hit. He could succeed in bringing new talented angles of Chaitu, Anup and Andru. All the three skills have been elevated by Vijay. It is a ‘watch with family’ entertainer. A clean and cool film will be liked by all Akkineni fans.
