Performance
Vishal excelled in action scenes. He is ok in romantic and emotional scenes. Shruti Hasan oozed with glamour. Satyaraj performed well as a cop.
Mukesh Tiwari's did not get chance to show his acting talent as a villain. Radhika and others performed according to their roles.
Andrea Jermiah sizzled in special song.
Technical
Yuvan Shankar Raja's music is ok. Background score is good. Cinematography is good. Editing is fine except for the comedy scenes. Stunt choreography is excellent.
Dialogues are pretty ordinary. Director Hari should have kept Telugu viewers tastes in mind while releasing the film in Telugu.
Plus Points
Vishal's action scenes
Shruti Hasan beauty
Andrea Jermiah's song
Minus Points
Story, Screenplay, Direction
Poor comedy
Tamil flavor
Analysis
Director Hari came with routine subject. There are no real twists and turns in the film. Though the film has commercial elements and high voltage action scenes, comedy with Tamil flavor is a big minus. Instead of evoking laughter it tested the patience of movie lovers.
Except for action scenes which interest masses there is nothing in the movie. Shruti Hasan's glamour to some extent and pre climax arises little bit interest. Otherwise it is pretty ordinary story.
Final Talk
Pooja is a poor execution |
