 10:00 AM - The movie starts. Title followed by ‘Current Theega’ title song.

10:12 AM - Jagapathi Babu is introduced to us as Siva Rama Raju. There are some cops searching for Siva Rama Raju’s home.

10:15 AM - Siva Rama Raju has three daughters. Rakul Preet Singh is introduced as his daughter. Manoj Manchu is introduced. He is seen tying his lungi up! Manoj is the president of VIP Sangam and Sahankaranna is introduced as the villain.

10:20 AM - Rakul Preet Singh is introduced as the third daughter of Jagapathi Babu (Siva Rama Raju). She is a college going, cute looking girl.

10:22 AM - Sunny Leone’s grand entry – the audience here has gone crazy! Sunny Leone is the school teacher and Manoj has been seeing her for past six months. He decides to propose her.

10:26 AM - Manoj sends letter to Sunny through Rakul who does it unhappily. She secretly admires Manoj. Poor girl!

10:28 AM - The most awaited – Sunny song on now! Sunny, Sunny… audience reaction is beyond expression!

10:32 AM - Song is over. Audience a little relaxed now.

10:34 AM - Siva Rama Raju is a little worried about his third daughter. His 2 elder daughters are married. Veera Raju once said that Rakul may elope (he wants that to happen so that the arrogant Siva Rama Raju is embarrassed). Vinnela Kishore is introduced as Manoj’s friend.

10:39 AM - The movie has a very village look. We now see Manoj fighting some goons who were teasing Rakul Preet at her college.

10:40 AM - Manoj says he is like – Current Theega (High Voltage) – Dialogue of the hour!

10:43 AM - Action fight sequence. Audience reaction is simply amazing! Whistles and claps and cheers all through!

10:47 AM - Siva Rama Raju is fixing Rakul’s wedding. Manoj is seen at police station complaining against him saying that Rakul is underage!

10:50 AM - The police enter the wedding and stop the marriage. Rakul is super happy. The police don’t disclose who had filed the complaint.

10:55 AM - Rakul gets to know that Manoj was behind the complaint. She is happy. She falls for him. Third song – beautifully pictured! The song has some visions of Sunny Leone too!

11:01 AM - Highlight of the movie now. The scene introduces Sampoornesh Babu. Laughter riot here!

11:02 AM - Rakul informs Manoj of Sunny’s wedding. Sunny invites Manoj to her wedding. A heart break? Aww!

11:08 AM - The dialogues of the movie are very well placed. The comedy is superbly timed. Manoj sees Rakul in beautiful lehangaas. He finally falls for her. A great song now playing!

11:11 AM - Siva Rama Raju finds out who was responsible for the police complaint that stopped Rakul’s wedding.

11:13 AM - Intermission now. A great and entertaining first half!

11:26 AM - A good movie with decent dialogues and great comedy – there isn’t anything vulgar.

11:34 AM - Villain Shankaranna and Siva Rama Raju join to take revenge with Manoj.

11:50 AM - Heavy duty action sequences and some great comedy scenes between Raju (Manoj) and Siva Rama Raju (Jagapathi Babu)!

REVIEW: CURRENT TEEGA

Current Teega (Theega) Review - Story 

Rating : 3.25

Manchu Manoj's "Current Theega" has been creating a lot of positive buzz in the media ever since it was announced. Directed by "Dhenikaina Ready" fame G Nageswara Reddy, the movie has released in more than 700 cinema halls in 31 countries and has been successful in impressing the viewers.

"Current Theega" is an action thriller, which is loaded with romance, music, dance, emotion and comedy elements. Manchu Manoj has played the hero in the movie, which features Rakul Preet Singh, Sunny Leone and Jagapathi Babu in important roles. Achu Rajamani has composed tunes for the songs of the movie, which have rocked the music lovers.

The Manoj and Rakul starrer is a remake of 2013 Tamil film "Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam", which has already been remade in Kannada as "Adhyaksha". Nageswara Reddy, who penned Telugu story has made several changes in the script to suit the taste of the local audience. He has also added some commercial elements such as high-octane action scenes and an item song featuring Sunny Leone in the film.

Set in a village backdrop, "Current Theega" revolves around the story of a group of wastrels lead by Raju (Manchu Manoj). Raju is in love with school teacher Sunny (Sunny Leone) and he forces her student Kavitha (Rakul Preet Singh) to deliver his love letters and gifts to her. Sunny gets married to someone and Raju is left heartbroken.

Meanwhile, Kavitha's father Shivarama Raju (Jagapathi Babu) arranges for the wedding of his minor daughter, which Raju stops with the help of the police. What happens next will form the crux of the story.

"Current Theega" seems to be garnering mixed reviews from film goers. The audience, who are now watching the film in the theatres, took to their Twitter page to share opinions about the movie.

Current Theega is a colorful village entertainer. Will be a definite hit and a biggest grosser for Manoj. Will do well in all centers. Current Theega will be a hatrick hit for heroine Rakul Preet Singh after venkatadri express and loukyam. New golden leg of Telugu cinema

Storyline:

The plot of the movie is about a small-time village hero and his love story. There is action blended just in the right doze. The main lead played by Rakul has an interesting coverage.

 The movie is a perfect entertainer and giving the movie an ‘A’ cert is not at all fair. Sunny Leone’s  role was limited as School Teacher and there isn’t any vulgarity around her role and even in her special song.

Highlight:

The action scenes in the movie and the comedy of the movie are the best things. The story has been adapted beautifully for the Telugu audiences. Jagapathi babu is apt in his role as heroine’s father.Manoj, as usual has perfectly balanced his acting for the role. Rakul Preet was charming and the chemistry between Manoj and Rakul was lovely.

  Every actor in the movie has done good job. Audience can enjoy the movie till last without any doubt about the ‘A’ cert. Comedy was good and situational.Though Vennela kishore didn’t appear after the interval other comedians had tried their best to keep the comedy active.

 Sampoornesh appeared in a single scene and delivered a dialogue in his style, to which the audience were laughing their heads off, not just with Sampoo’s scene but for all the comic scenes in the movie have kept the momentum high. Even Manoj was good with his comedy and well framed dialogues.

Minus Points:

The movie’s certificate of ‘A’ is perhaps keeping the family audience a little away.

Verdict:- Current Theega is a High voltage entertainer- movie is worth watching, not just for once but twice and thrice too.!

It is known that Indo Canadian Porn Star Sunny Leone is making her debut in Tollywood with Manchu Manoj's Current Teega. Film stars Rakul Preet Singh as heroine and Shilpi Sharma in special song under the direction of G.Nageswara Reddy.

Manoj Manchu joins HudHud relief operations in vizag

Actor Manoj Manchu is in Vishakhapatnam for the last four days, actively involved in the Hud Hud relief operations. He and his 70 others visited the HudHud ravaged city to distribute 7 lakh water packets, 10 tonnes of rice 2 tonnes of pulse, 5 lakh candles, 3 lakh biscuit packets and lot more basic necessities. Sai Yadav son of Srinivas Yadav MLA Sanatnagar and Vijayawada youth wing leader Avinash Devineni followers also went along with Manoj Manchu to support the relief operation.

Over 30 lakh rupees have been spent so far in the relief operations. Manoj always felt very close to vizag. Expected to return to the city of Hyderabad after a 4 day of relief operations Manoj said, "It is an hour of care and support for the displaced families and to create a grass-root help for them, I wish i could stay here for another week do more relief work. But I have to go back because of my pending works. But I will come back here soon to do more work". 

The actor's film Current Theega was deferred release because of the HudHud calamity will now be released worldwide on October 31.

Manchu Manoj's upcoming film Current Theega is something of a dream come true for director G Nageswara Reddy and he confesses that he has been planning to work with the actor for a long time now. "After working with Vishnu Manchu in Dhenikaina Reddy, I waited for nearly two years to get a chance to direct Manchu Manoj.Thankfully,we found a wonderful story and a fabulous team to work with on this project," G Nageswara Reddy admits. He minces no words when it comes to praising Manoj. "Manchu Manoj's USP lies in his youth appeal, apart from inheriting his father's versatility in portraying different characters. He has even choreographed three action sequences in the film, which will be another stand out feature," the director says.

Mumbai: Sunny Leone's special number ‘Devadas Breakup’ for ‘Current Theega’, has been made on a whopping budget of Rs.1.5 crore.

The song which has been dubbed in Telugu and Hindi will be released before the film.

The song, for the upcoming film "Current Theega", has also been dubbed in Hindi.

"The item song is made on a budget of Rs.1.5 crore. It will reach audiences directly through national music and entertainment channels.

This is for the first time that almost a full song is released in Telugu and Hindi before the release of the film," the production house said.

Manchu Manoj plays the lead in "Current Theega", which features Rakul Preet Singh as heroine. It also stars Jagapathi Babu in an important role while Sunny will be seen in a cameo.

 The movie features Manchu Manoj and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, is slated to release on Oct 17.
 

Dedicates 'Devadas break up' song to girls: MANOJ

Actor Manchu Manoj says the "Devadas breakup song", the behind-the-scenes video of which has gone viral online, is dedicated to all the girls who "inspired" him.

The song features in his upcoming Telugu romantic actioner "Current Teega".

"This song is dedicated to all the girls who've inspired me. It's a peppy song with catchy tunes and funky lyrics. I'm glad that the song has gone viral on the internet within a day of its release. The audience will enjoy the song when they watch it on screen," Manoj said in a statement.

Produced by Manoj's brother Vishnu, "Current Teega" is directed by G. Nageshwar Reddy, and features Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role.

Actress Sunny Leone will be seen in a special number in the film, which is slated to release Oct 2.
